ATLAS Overview Week 2018

Welcome to ATLAS Overview Week 2018!

ATLAS is one of the four major experiments at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN. It is a general-purpose particle physics experiment run by an international collaboration and is designed to exploit the full discovery potential and the huge range of physics opportunities that the LHC provides.

For that purpose, we focus on general overview of the concepts rather than individual topics.
The ATLAS Overview Week 2018 is a collaboration week at which the status of ATLAS, from data-taking to analysis and upgrade, will be discussed. Presentations and discussions will consider all aspects of the ongoing work of the collaboration, as well as reviewing the latest results. Representatives out of 183 institutes from 39 countries meets together in Waseda.
